Default Does petition work? Corpse is lost

I know exactly where I died, but the corpse is not there. What should one do on this server in that case?

Yea, petition works here, you should do that and be patient. When did you die, is it possible the corpse rotted?

^ do as stated above [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. Finding a hard to locate corpse is a FEATURE of the game, not a bug [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] -- if you still can't find it, just be patient. Also, type /corpse if you are in the area of the corpse, it maybe hiding in a shrubbery.

Yes, sometimes things hide in the terrain, or move mysteriously. A bard is an excellent idea. -self promotion-

Depending what zone you're in, I'd be happy to help you find it if you need, as long as I can get there as a lvl 10. it would have to be later today, around 5pm CST though.

In-game bard name is Waul.

This isn't the place to be a troll... Someone new to the game is trying to find a body.

Type /corpse before you go enlisting bards or buying chipped bone rods. That will tell you if you have a corpse in the zone, even if you're too far away to drag it. If so, then you can get some help finding it.

Try locating corpse with appropriate class first. I that fails I would petition on the forums.
