|
Laptop brands ...
I have 3 brands to choose from..
Acer, Toshiba, and HP.. I'm prolly going to go with an I3 with 320-500G hard drive, 4Gram and Win7 Premium. The computer is for work, word processing and all that. Anyone care to weigh in on these 3 brands and share good / bad experiences? | ||

Such a bad lineup...
I'd go Acer. It's the least rotten apple in the bunch. Your HP will die in a year, and your Toshiba will have intermittent problems that will never get properly fixed ever.

But something tells me that's out of your price range. Next best, on the consumer end of things (crapshoot, 2 years average reliability):

i'v had a toshiba for over a year and the only problems i'v had are problems i'v given myself (serious trojans and stuff like that). i had a buddy that got an acer and it died in under a week

I was thinking of a Satellite - I just need something to plug into the overhead to display lesson plans, watch movies on the ferry rides, and keep notes in Onenote - don't need to much power.. Battery Life might be important so I'm hoping to get about 3.5 hours or so on a 6 cell.
