If you don't mind the faction hits there are tons of things to kill in Ak'anon. And of course much of the faction hits can be repaired killing minos.

the faydark dance to 50:

gfay/steamfont >>> crushbone >>> unrest >>> mistmoore. Leave mistmoore in low 40s.

it is a sold progression if you can learn unrest and mistmoore. zones have ZEMs and decent loot for their level. bank and merchants never more than 1 to 2 zones away.

That and kedge once you finish Mistmoore, can ride that out to 55~ as a group. Kedge is quite glorious.

Unrest/Mistmoore like what everyone else said is safest bet for those levels.

Though TBH if you're not in Castle Ent group or Castle itself even MM can be a pita with trains from those respective areas.
