but on this server damage mitigation of monk is already velious level, then add that into the below par non classic hybrid 2hd dmg.

a hybrid will double attack for 120's on a caster here, on a plate class its 40-80.

on a monk its not even about damage, its about getting a hit on him 1 in 5 times.

do the math, you will see that im right.. all i see here are people who are forum warriors with no grasp of p99, note how i said p99, this isnt EQ.

Is colgate good at pvp? fuck yea of course he is. Did he just wipe the floor with Weta? no. This went just as expected, 2 good players go against eachother and the superior class won. the evidence is in the video itself, most of colgates kills are within 20-30 seconds of him just coming up on a newb and him not knowing what to do.

You can't judge class balance on this video because Weta has like a 1:5 ratio of landing good jousts against Colgate. If he had been on an identical monk he would have met the same fate.

All the people saying hybrids suck are insane. Epic level 60 Ogre shadowknight is top tier, and even more so in velious. What he really needed was a sow potion to match colgate's runspeed and perhaps a shrink pot/aon, and someone playing him that can joust.

Hey I'm famous now! Talk about Colgate fun police.

I had jboots and self buffs, and I never had any intention of actually fighting, I was actually trying to log off for the night and was having a little fun messing around. At no point did I bother making a serious effort to win that fight, I was screwing around with Deluxee in neriak, Colgate came, I wasn't really interested in fighting against Tstaff monk, but I never fought colgate before, so I wanted a little taste, he proc'ed a bunch and I bailed for the night.

You people take this box wayyy too seriously. I'm here to enjoy myself, and if I was actually yaknow making a serious effort to fight back it would of been a lot different of a fight. I almost assuredly would of lost still, I defy any shadowknight to beat a skilled well gear iskar monk with tstaff on this server, specially if they proc three times, but that wasn't what I was going for.

I encourage any of you who wish to fight me 1v1 to send me a tell! I have no problem fighting some fun time honor duels, I'm not the kind of person to be like "I WILL SMOKE ALL YOU NERDS" but if you really think I'm bad then yo uare welcome to come prove it.
