Torches you can buy off newbie vendors. Back when you couldn't just turn up the gamma as a human/erudite/barbarian and you truly were almost blind at night on one of those races people would use a torch as a light source.

Highkeep Guards 150 Zem 30-40. Lguk is also good.
Or, in Highkeep, you could charm Osargen (from the jail) and slaughter gobbies in the basement. Not hard to get a group there.

Make sure to buy a complete set of leather armor, two whips and gold earrings to give to him so you can have maximum leather daddy immersion.

Also, Osargen works best from behind. Themoreyouknow.gif

Firiona vie. Especially with a snaring partner, sk or Ranger or druid or necro. You charm a pirate that backstabs, and fear kite stuff on the ledge. Did 31 to 44 there on enc doing a level every couple hours (faster early on) with my druid partner.

Would this ledge be on the left on the left of the docks in FV?

Why is innately dual wielding fists (give pet torch) better than equipping pet with rusty weapons as you come across them. From a damage standpoint of course.

I *think* it's because torches only weigh .5 and you only need 1 of them to force dual-wield. So you can keep a number of them with you for a longer period of time without having to try to farm new rusties & w/o weighing yourself down.

Edit: I think it also allows you to force dual-wield even if they have a twohanded weapon.

So you could give your charm target a swarmcaller & a torch and now they're quading machine that procs slow.

Bandits in WK, Sisters in LFay, Mino Camp in Steamfont are all good at this level and pretty easy to solo charm/duo.

Edit: Dervs in Nro or inside castle in Crushbone too with a group.

Anybody else had luck doing this at 30? Almost 31, but I'd really love a solid solo/duo spot to do, don't always have time for MM/HKH/etc groups. Even with 210cha, charm seems to break an awful lot, and pirates seem a little too high level to me.
