Best way to lose weight/ become healthy is through diet.. Weight =/ healthy. Cut out as much Sugar as possible in your diet and you will lose weight simply through that. A lot of people are unaware of how bad soda or soft drinks are. Cut all of them out including juices, they offer absolutely no nutritional value and are extremely detrimental to your long term health. Note: Companies put sugar now in everything in order to get customers to want their product, so look at the label don't just assume a product doesn't have sugar (sugar is inherently addictive and that's why people have sugar cravings).. In terms of exercise, a lot of people are unwilling to go to gym because they are self conscious. If you don't have a friend to go with you, I would recommend getting a beginner home dvd thing. I can recommend Tapout XT (it's an mma group workout dvd). The level is intermediate to advanced. Note: do not become discouraged if you cannot keep up with them.. In fact, best way to go about it is to watch the one of the programs, write down the exercise moves they do and then practice at your own time.... it's not about being perfect the first time, second or even 40th time, it's about making an effort. | ||

![]() Also if you want to cheat (i.e., have no motivation for exercise, can't control appetite / cravings etc).. there are plenty of "workout" supplements. I know for a fact they work, however, it's hard to determine the long term impact of using them as they are relatively recent.

![]() i can write this because i am in shape and have lost 60+ pounds twice in my life....yeaaa twice.
work out/diet for 2 weeks, when you get your first compliment from someone who hasent seen you in 2 weeks, you will be hooked. its easy...get past the second week. for you really fat people - best diet is chicken and veggies for lunch and dinner (no corn) breakfast have weight control oatmeal(quaker) and a yogurt (must have "live active culture" as first ingredient) youre done eating at 8pm- water only-coffee w/out sugar - MULTIVITAMIN - Take one..it is needed. The best excersise if you are very obese is interval training on a stationary bike. it will increase your heart rate while not destroying your knees from the overwhelming weight. 2 mins of a regluar controlled pace (like a brisk joyful bike ride), 1 min all out, 2 min reg pace, 1 min all out, 2 min regular pace, 1 min all out....continued until you have done AT LEAST 45 mins. Anything less than 45 is POINTLESS. You will drop 10 pounds the first 2 days...then you should see 2-5 pounds a week keeping to this diet. get to the point where you are doing 45 mins prior to weight lifting, and then another 45 mins after weight lifting. sleep is extremely important. log off eq and sleep so your metabolism can work while u rest. its really this simple. | ||

![]() Workout supplements aren't restricted to only weight loss ones.. but yes many if not all contain caffeine.
I'm skeptical of anecdotal stories in terms of weight loss because everyone's body physiology is different. There is no one way to loose weight, so choose something you know you can do and stick to it. | ||
