Default SERVER NOT FAIR - NEED VARIANCE BETWEEN 12 - 3 PM ONLY

The Nihilum grief machine won't stop pvping us and taking our first born

Simulated repops and variance has proven to be unsuccessful so now we need to fight 2 make it between 12 and 3 pm pst for all guilds to have a fighting chance

Oh and no pvp in contested zones. First to engage only.

Ya I mean this is a pretty bad troll. I think we can all agree it's more fun when there's pvp over the pve. I think most people can also agree it's more likely for there to be pvp over pve at say 8PM EST than 4AM EST.

So should we use variance to encourage pvp at 4 am or should we have static timers that can be planned for

Let's make sure everyone is in agreement.

nothing wrong with a 6am raid if its the outcome of variance, cuz u know that if u missed it if you were at work, the next week could be 6pm.

Before you argue for or against either position on variance you need to understand what each system is.

Static spawns spawn a certain time after the last time the mob was killed. Nerds on this server move the spawn times to spawn at 9 am to avoid any pvp, competition or population inflow to the server.

Variance makes it so players can't control when raid mobs pop and people just play the game to play, instead of moving around their pathetic lives to be home raiding at 9 am during the week.

Now that you have been educated, argue on brother.

Dunno I never used the word variance. Just stating I think we could all agree that there would be more fun competition if mobs weren't @ 6am. What the solution, if any, for that is, I don't know.
