8 level range works fine, People caught out in the open who aren't watching their backs well ya know its a PVP server. Dungeons like solb, seb where people are going to be exping is FFA Anyway so it wouldn't matter. Cutting it down to 4 would come down to whoever has the most OOR 50-55 cleric healers and the only way to contest this would be having MORE characters on standby that are 56-59 in order to kill these OOR healers. At the very least a 6 level difference, a 4 is just retarded.

HB, if you spent as much time educating your new players in gank evasion tactics as you do suggesting ways to change the game your players would probably never need training wheels.

How about something like.

< 50 players online -------- 8 level range
> 50 && <= 125 players online -------- 6 level range
> 125 players online --------- 4 level range

Or, scalable in some way. That's just a rough example.
How about every time a player gets killed in PvP they get a blue of XP and a 1 hour global 1% XP bonus added to the 1,500,000% bonus we already have. Of course, this global bonus adds up during the day. If it gets to be too much, like when you can make level 55 off of a single decaying skeleton, then reset it back to the 1,500,000% bonus.

This is the only way to make sure that no one gets any hurt feelings in PvP. The individual gets XP because of the lost time, and the whole server gets an XP bonus because we don't want YT scaring anyone off.

CR, I know this may be asking a lot as well, but you could consider taking some of that $600,000 and starting a fund so that the mothers of red99 players could take family leave time and console PvP victims.

Sounds like a player issue, not level range. Suck it up bud, we all did it the Tune grief round about. Once your 60, it evens out. Azrael still fights Nihilum even tho we are half classic half kunark vs 60 epic vp geared toons.

Let's make it so you can't equip VP gear if you are fighting a 59 and you are 60. Also, lets make it so wizards can't cast spells if they are in range to their target.
A couple people claim the same thing Azrael has been saying since day one, that their opponents out gear/level them, and you jump sides of the argument like a child.

Most of Red Dawn is literally 2-3 weeks old. Azrael makes this comment to this day after having 30+ days played and gear that is comparable just because the Nihilum chars they go against have an earring from VP.

Levels, epics for melee and spells for casters is all you need to compete in PvP with the best during Kunark. Enjoy the next month while you still have that advantage.
