Default 4G Connection to Blue Server

One of my guild mates has an awful satellite internet connection, and due to the fact that he lives out in the boonies, his choice of internet connection is satellite or a 4G connection through his cell phone. He has played successfully using the 4G connection in the past.

Starting last Sunday, November 17, he is able to get to the login server, but if he selects the Blue Server, (non PVP), he is taken back to server select after a minute or so. However, he is able to select other servers.

He has tried flushing his DNS. Any suggestions on solutions to this issue? Anyone else have this issue if using a 4G connection to the internet? He is able to log in through the satellite internet connection for play in old world areas, but if he goes to Kunark, his lag is unbearable to the point that the can no longer play.

The tower (for cellphone reception) in his area might be having issues. I play on 3g (also in the boonies) and never have any issues.

It is also possible the phone itself is having issues.

I've tried this in the past but never had any luck. I was using an older android though and using cricket network.
