Hi Im a lvl 5 ogre shaman and was gifted 200plat from a stranger. what should i be trying to buy with it?

Full set of banded and some kind of cheap but good ratio weapon would be the best bang for your buck.

Goblin Parrying Spear (6/19, 4wis, 5ac, 5sv magic).

You can also scoop a Sarnak Skull (nodrop) in lake of ill omen that has 3wis and 4ac I think.

I'd suggest saving a little of the plat for spells. If you hit a level where you get new spells and you can't afford them, you'll definitely wish you had saved some plat.
