They are completely different sports, albeit both around physical contest. But it's like saying long jump is better than high jump.. ..or that western fencing is better than kendo.. ..they're not better than one another, they're different.

And for those who went full retard and said "mma moar liek real fight," let me ask if you know why they call it "Brazilian jujitsu?" Because they can't call it jujitsu, because a real person fighting with real techniques would really break your thumb and instep and then gouge your eyes before tossing you into an unceremonious heap (head first) into a position of small join compliance. And on the other hand, you'd get stabbed or hit over the head with a rock. MMA is not real fighting. But thx for teh lulz.

Size does not trump technical aptitude.

Mayweather would destroy rampage if it was a straight boxing match. It would be no contest, mayweather would pick him apart. So would most professional boxers. Rampage would not land a punch (rampage's standup is garbage, he won fights through sheer tenacity, and he gets mad props from me for doing so but he is no boxer).
