Ofc, that game was not balanced a lot of the time either, but it had some shining periods and is fairly well balanced at the current point in time. I really wish someone would pick up the Guild Wars 1 system and continue to refine and broaden it, because it's the best ever. A real tragedy how the developers abandoned it for Guild Wars 2.
Yeah I'll give you guild wars had some good design.

not going to lie, i seriously feel like going all out on this box before teams launch. havent been this motivated since i started VV but ff14 is so good (pve-wise) and im getting my pvp fix on DCUO. not sure what it is but console MMOs are growing on me.

Simplicity. And refined interface.

Simplicity != lack of depth. FF14 probably has some good gameplay from what I hear.

Its what makes me quit EQ... can't control it with a joystick so much.

Against a melee, the average Necro got shit on in Velious. Shit, I remember 1 shotting some (/duelist double-backstabbing)

Server launches with team rules in place.

Server barely gets into Kunark, giving just enough time to level up, get keyed and have some fun guild vs guild.

Shortly after the two pvp servers merge.

Nihilum has neglected the new server the entire time and built a force on a dead box that will prosper if teams are enforced on the merged server.

Teams server is back to red99 status in 5 months.
