If you had a clue you would understand that there is a lot of gray area. It's not a computer game where everything is in this or that category and it's all neatly broken down. There is a lot of crossover and it varies from individual and individual situation.

Go read some more fetlife groups and debate it with them there. 90% of the people on that site are clueless too.

Such a silly blanket term, only thing I'm trying to tell you is it's not the norm it's the exception and the exception is more rampant in the BDSM community than say the furry community, or the age-play community etc.
