Crash on launch

Hey all,

I went to login this evening and EQ now crashes every time I click Play from the EQemu menu. I played this morning with no troubles. Here is the error report from WinEQ:

Things I have tried to fix the error:
1) Went to a different computer. I receive the same error on both my laptop and desktop.
2) Re installed WinEQ. Same error.
3) Tried launching directly from EQgame. On my laptop I get "The instruction at 0x02eef0ce referenced memory at 0xffffffffc. The memory could not be read" Strangely enough it loads the game on my desktop no problem.
4) *Edit* I tried adjusting the resolution as in the readme but still no luck.
Not sure what's going on but any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

*Edit2* Just wanted to give update to this in case someone ran into same issue. I got EQgame to run on my laptop (updated my video card driver) and changed resolution. Still no luck on WinEQ but if I come across something I'll reply to this thread.

Appears to be related to a patch introduced today by Wineq on their end. Because I'm getting the same error.

Same issue here. Agree it's probably something WinEQ has done, as it only started after WinEQ patched itself.
