the guys who run this game have been doing so for *years* and i'm sure it already feels like a 2nd job for which they volunteer their time and energy. it's a big 24/7 undertaking. let's not turn this into a flame-the-guy-in-charge thread. i dont think there's anything they can really do about what's going on.

I think you misread that. Rogean stated that the Ddos attack is directed at TMO raids, not at p1999 itself is what he said. The stated that taking down the server doesnt "hurt" the staff. Since this isn't an income source for them he's absolutely right. He isn't really harmed. It's the people who just want to play the game and have fun that get screwed.

As far as I can tell someone is really really butthurt. It's most likely Shinko or Xerxes considering that the precision timing of the attacks suggest real time intel. My solution would be to ban their accounts until they roll over on the person doing it. If it isn't them I'm willing to bet they know who it is.

If I was Nilbog, Rogean I would just pull the plug on P1999. I am sure in the beginning it sounded like a good idea, but grew more complex with more people on, and more Guides, GM's needed. Then they wanting to get it a lot more Classic has to take a ton of research to do it, not counting the coding.

Then to have a bunch of cheating bastards, NO SURPRISE, and winning ass bastards on the Forums. Wow and now I bet they don't make crap money wise off this anymore even though there are more people on. There is no good ending to this shit. When Velious ever comes out people will bitch this and that is not right. Then when it has been out for 2 years then tons will bitch we want AA's, Cats on the Moon, etc.
