The game runs but goes to black screen with cursor (Fresh install)

Hey guys, I'm trying to join the community once again but I'm having issues.

I followed the guide step by step and when I run the EQemulator it runs the game but its just a black screen with the cursor?

I guess its a resolution issue, where can I set EQ's resolution if I cannot get to the options? Is there a config file I can find?

Has anyone experienced this before?
