There is no precedent for this. When binding was removed from TD no one said you had to change your bind. So when binding was removed from Perma/Solb and they did not mention having to change your bind and multiple GM confirmed this was OK how in the world would you expect someone to know the will of another gm who came to this server much later and sets a new rule.

My final thoughts on this thread.

People were never told to move their binds. They know this is the rule NOW. That those bound there must move their binds or risk suspension. Anyone who had a bind there before sirkens post yesterday was not exploiting because there was no rule until yesterday.

These zones being unbindable at this point is outdated and should be reviewed and possibly changed back bindable zones.

i truly cant tell which of your guildies are simply trolling me for the sake of trolling me in this thread. if youre asking a legit question, you deserve a legit answer.

regardless of whether i think it was a good idea, the ability for players to bind themselves in Solb and Perma has been disabled. exactly why or when, i do not know. it was pointed out to me recently and i finally had time to check it out this week. after i saw it was true, in the essence of fairness, i made this thread.

bind was removed from from these zones for a reason, and for whatever reason the staff didnt want players bound there. Some players took this to mean they didnt have to change their bind (even though they were the entire reason binding was disabled, but moving on). Now instead of just straight out banning players, in the spirit of fairness, i decided to give all players until July 1, which i thought was a fair amount of time to rebind.

the reason they arent getting TD bind is because 1) TD is not a bindable zone at this point in the timeline. 2)why on earth would i reward players for trying to circumvent the server rules, or the staff's wishes?

this is not about trying to fuck one group or another group. this is about keeping things fair for EVERYBODY of all groups and guilds.

(consider that my last post in this thread, as i now consider the issue thoroughly explained)
