Chickens coming home to roost. French have been selling massive amounts of weapons to middle east terrorist groups, like the Saudi arabian Government. Increasingly, the planet gets smaller and we either gonna all live well together (there is still time) or were gonna finish the job and all live through hell while humanity offs themselves with environemental collapse and perma war.

Typical Starfleet hypocrisy. For all their talk of how 'evolved' they were, and what they eventually hope to accomplish once they have 'evolved' some more, they fail to realize their idea of evolution is just rudimentary genetic engineering dragged out over generations.

It seems many people supporting the "satire" of Islam under the free speech argument don't have any revered religious icons in their own lives (Atheists, Agnostics, Nihilists). This does not surprise me. As "Free speech" reeks of a sheltered Western Orientalist argument for these non-religious folks. And it sounds ridiculous.

Satire was traditionally reserved for public figures and matters of government. Wholesale bashing and slandering of a religion makes free speech look bad. Just like the criminal who is using free speech as his defense after making vicious felony threats. Bad bad bad.

You need to respect some things in life.

Disagree. That is their culture; in a Muslim nation they can do as they wish. If they are going to emigrate to the West, they need to embrace liberalism, free speech, free markets, democracy, etc.

The two aren't compatible, I'm not sure what's to be gained from this migration policy unless someone is trying to start a war. Fast looking like the 1930s again if EU politiicans don't start listening to the people. Countries are already building internal borders/fences to keep them out, even if they aren't allowed to fence off the EU's outer border.

That right there is why we have to send them back.

Even if I was a moderate or non practicing Muslim, I don't want to lose any more civil liberties as an American first and foremost.

We have to keep potential terror out due to the threat it poses to freedom and civil liberties, via kneejerk reactive legislation by congress when an attack does happen.
