Default Newb "Boxing" Question

I'm not looking for a way to 2-box by any means, but I want to play Project1999 with my wife from the same house. Is it possible for both of us to play together or could that get our IP banned or anything like that? I want to ask before I try anything just to be sure.

Thanks for any help.

You will be fine as long as you two are playing together.

What I see commonly is that once in awhile someone gets the urge to box when one is "out for coffee" or at work..

Yes. But as said, play with caution.

I know it might feel easy to just log in your wife's character to buff/port yourself, but someone is always watching [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

My wife and I are looking to do the same. From what I've read I just need to put a post in the petitions forum requesting it. (Put it up there last night.) Is there anything else I need to do? Supply my IP, ect?

there are insructions on how to do this posted up here in multiple places - just use the handy search feature and look for "ip exemptions" and you'll get all the info you need.

xanatos - ever spent any time playing muds? your name is very familiar.

I followed the directions in the Petitions Sticky when I registered last night. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else that I should be doing to help things along. Purely selfish motivations. The wife and I REALLY want to play. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

"IP Exemption: This is for requesting to be exempt from the limit of 1 connection per IP Address. You may request exemption if you have more than 1 real person playing from the same IP. When posting for this, please include the account names of every person that will be playing from the same IP."

I've played a couple of MUDS but most of my gaming experience came just a bit to late for them. Really wish I was born about 10 years earlier some days. I really missed out on some good stuff. Yay for DOSBOX!!!

My name and it's origin, at least as it pertains to me, is the name of the main villain in a Disney cartoon called Gargoyles. Mid 90's awesomeness. It had action, magic, mythology, characters with depth and as a bonus a decent amount of the characters were voiced by Star Trek TNG actors/actresses.
