Satellite Internet?

Everytime i hit play everquest on the server select, it sends me back to login, is this due to my terrible, PoS, satellite internet connection?

I can play live EQ without much issues other then long zoning with this internet connection.

Several factors are involved with connections ,Satellite connections are often poor compared to ADSL, or cable connections.
You can look here http://www.speedguide.net/index.php for different tweak's for your setup just doing a few i've noticed a huge difference in my connection.
