Very new need help.

Hey guys,
I found out about Project 1999 today on reddit.com and jumped on this as fast as possible. I got Everquest Titanium and downloaded it. Got the EQEmulator launcher thing and got that. got all the way to the login screen and it just stops at "Logging in to server. Please wait..."

not sure what I did wrong or still need to do. any help would be great.

ok update to this. I got it to work but then went LD and got diconnected. tried to log back in and said I was IP blocked?

give it 5 min, it will let you log back in

It goes away after a few minutes.

That message comes up if you disconnect and try to login in the next few minutes. It should clear after 2-3 minutes or so.

I'd say about 1 in every 15-20 logins it gets stuck at the login screen saying "Logging in, blah blah" I usually just escape to desktop and re-try. Another common error is you log in and see no servers at all, even outside of the Project1999. Push escape just once to account login and try again, usually pops up.

Oh and as previous person said, the IP block is from logging out and in too fast just wait a few mins. You'll also see it happen if you go from 1 server to another too fast.
