Default Extreme server/website lag. Disconnected. No servers in list. Cannot Join.
Server started lagging like super insane crazy, DC'd me, and I havent been able to get a server list to refresh in the EMULauncher, and havent been able to log in either. Yet the forums say the server never went down and is still running atm....

Anyone else having this right now?

They are working but they are lagging like crazy. As far as the patcher goes right click oatcher background or tray icon and click start only everquest. This will at least get you to login.

Yea, I am having the same problems. It's not my ISP. http://eqemulauncher.moestaverne.com/ should look at better hosting. http://www.1and1.com/ is not exactly quality.

moestaverne.com will move to a new server soon, but that wont change anything, if hundreds to thousands of zombies DDoSing at the same time... there is just so much i can do..

I thought the server had some means of DDoS protection.

there is no protection against DDoS. there are ways to stop it over time, by just banning all the zombies, but that takes a while.. besides that (and some other little things im not going to describe here) there is not much to do..

Evan just banning all the IPs doesnt really work. They The server still has to reject each of the requests from the banned IP's.
