TERA is going Free to Play, and previous players are getting fucking luxury treatment when it goes through.

Basically, you have all the perks of a paying player, the only drawbacks being auctionhouse fees and not getting double rewards from doing instances.

Combat was one of the (very)few positive things I've heard about the game.

you attack, then are forced to commit while the two second animation plays. Feels like youre not in control. Have played other shitty korean games but that were not as rigid.

lol, yes there are attack animations. the idea is to use them to your advantage. i'm sorry high skill cap games aren't fun for u.

i mean its not even that challenging really. the average player is going to figure it out no problem. there is some really impressive high end stuff you can pull off, but most of it is pretty accessible.

most of this, for anyone who's played any kind of action combat game, will be second nature.

The combat is super clunky on Berserker and the other two handed class, but Warrior, Casters and Archer is fine.

Warrior feels like you're playing a AAA action hack n slash game, combat is so much fun

Also should be noted for returning players: Warriors are an official tank-capable class now and Battlegrounds have been added.

Battlegrounds is a nice touch, although betting on Deathmatches was pretty rad.
