Did our pet UI just get removed?

So I see that it is still in game, but apparently it was meant to be removed?
- someone please tell me what magic trick I can use to command my pet while casting a spell?

For some reason clicking the pet UI allowed me to command the pet while casting (very usefull for mezzing while telling my pet to back off), my own hotkeys did not offer the same luxury, same with typing /who is doable while casting, but its not possible to click a /who macro, am I missing something?

You need to manually type the command in the chat bar for it to work while casting.

So essentially this will act as a nerf to pet classes, and not just a cosmetic back-to-classic move.
That sucks. Thanks for clarifying, was hoping I was missing something.

Lets hope they change their mind and decide to keep the pet UI in game, its such a wonderful tool for pet classes.

Actually, removing the pet UI IS classic, it was never meant to be in game (since it never existed during the classic/kunark era). It is to my understanding that the devs want to recreate the classic experience to the best of their abilities, so thats what they intend to do.

I think this is an annoying change as well as I used that pet window.
However, it doesnt change the fact that we all knew what this server was about when we signed up.

The "Old" pet UI is not classic so this change is legit even if it is annoying and makes life more difficult.
