Unhappy cannot zone majority of the time

So i looked through a 17 page stickied thread in technical discussion and theres nothing good in there figured this may get some more views.. Anyways it seems this is a problem at least a few people have but when i attempt to zone it will either show the loading bar all the way and then freeze or just do nothing and freeze. I have played with this problem all along since being on this server but for the past couple days it has gotten much worse. I pretty much cannot zone or camp to switch toons about 80 percent of the time. If i actually go through a zone its a goddamn miracle. does anyone know what could cause this or even better how to fix it?

The only time I've crashed while zoning was due to low bandwidth on my wireless router. I'm sure there are other reasons out there.

Have you tried the server on a different computer?

I'm going to redirect this post to the tech section, while leaving a redirect up.

I strongly suggest using wineq2.0. Prior to using it, I had issues with zone crashes.

Nilbog did the hard work, I'm just helping with a small bit of leg work...

Rogean's post has the link to winEQ2.

Hopefully that helps you, I can't say that I've experienced a similar issue.
