Graphics disappearing / bugging out
Hey guys, lately my graphics have been bugging out and disappearing - as in everything (or almost) disappears, leaving behind the "Green screen" at random times. No idea why. Any clues on this one? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It helps for you to give more details however I'm going to take a stab in the dark at what you're talking about.
I'm assuming you mean the glitch that occurs that causes everything but the UI, the Sky, and Spell effects to disappear whenever you face a certain direction then reappear if you face another direction (the direction in question is usually West. Hence the name of the glitch). This has been dubbed "West Bug" and it occasionally pops up in Titanium clients and is VERY VERY common in Secrets of Faydwer clients. Seeds of Destruction and higher clients have a built in fix that prevents this from showing up however as those clients sadly aren't supported on P99, despite being so on the rest of EQEmu, that point is moot. Sadly there is no way to fix this other than completely relogging out of the client every time it shows up. Beyond that you have to deal with it =/

Ugh, I was hoping a reinstall might fix it. It seems to be a screen tearing revealing the "green screen" behind the graphics... nothing exists between the (sometimes large) lines going across the screen except the "blank space" that you see when you fall through the world for instance. hmmm interesting. yeah screenshots may help =/ never heard of that. i suppose it could be a graphics card or driver issue...
