Because it's the cool kid thing to do...and making fun of him makes them feel better about themselves. Since they all have bits and pieces of personal info on him they can rail about how inferior he is (which is an illusion because he has a gf and a job) and it's really nothing more than projection.

The most ironic thing about it is that when the self-rage induced diatribe extends to the IRL insults - especially about his brother - it makes the insulters look exponentially worse than the object of their affections.

On the other hand, if Fin would lighten up and be a bit more positive now and again...
