Default Trueshot Chainmail (newbie ranger armor)

Hey guys, I played eq when the game launched in 99. I played a woodelf ranger. I remember there being a low level armor quest (Trueshot Chainmail) given by Samatansyn Flamecaller in the rangers guild, but I don't remember if it was part of the original game or if it was added later on. I did some searching before I posted this and couldn't find anything. Anyone know? I don't expect much help but it's worth a shot. Thanks for the help!

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

Newbie armors did not exist in classic. Ranger armor goes: what you find on mobs (typically cloth) -> banded (pretty cheap from a PC blacksmither) -> Ivy Etched -> Planar/Mithril -> Tolans (Kunark) BP/Legs. By the time that list is out of date, you should know your class well enough to disagree with me.

Thanks for the reply.. I guess you needed to throw that insult in at the end. Sorry I don't remember everything that occurred almost 13 years ago. I guess I'll need to work on that!

It takes a a lot of character to be a ranger. Definitely not for the weak! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
