Default Screenshot Folder

I recently reinstalled EQ and for some reason I had no screenshot folder. I couldn't find them anywhere after I had taken them in game. I tried making a folder named screenshots, but they will not save there. Anyone have the same issue or know of a solution?

Thanks

Ok I finally figured it out. Here are the two things that I did to fix it

First I made a folder in my eq directory named Screenshots.

Then i did this

Follow these steps to make the change:
1. Open C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\eqclient.ini in Notepad.
2. Hit CTRL-F or Edit Menu->Find and search for ScreenshotNumber.
3. Add "ScreenshotType=jpg" to the next line.

It doesn't really matter if you add ScreenshotType in that exact spot, but it does matter which "section" you add the line to, so putting it next to ScreenshotNumber is an easy way to know it's in an acceptible location.

After that I right clicked on my EQ icon when I was logging in and Ran as an administrator. That started saving my screenshots to the folder I made.

Hope it helps anyone else who has this issue

The reason it started to save images in the folder is because you ran EQ as an administrator, you were giving permissions to the folder. If you took screenshots before you did this they will be in your User folder.

Future ways to stop this:

1. Run as an administrator or
2. Don't install games into the Program Files folder.
