Sigh...The Mage's Guild (take a look)

So...When are we ever going to see this? Mages stack, and Mages stack well. We all know this. Imagine a guild of Mages with pure air pets. Yes, you know how hard they hit. 20+ air pets. Lvl 49+ air pets.

Imagine now and in Kunark. 20+air pets *chain stunning* (with their spell) huge targets. Throw in a large group of Magicians with DD spells and that is one dead target.

Yes, Jify did mention this earlier. I am expanding on this thought. Come on. When is a group or guild of high lvl Mages ever going to air pet chain stun a target? You want advice on a duo or trio? I see these threads often. Well, 3 Magicians with 3 air elementals. Do it. I mean, please do it.

At least a group of 6 Magicians with 6 air elementals. My god...the possibilities. I just gave away my armor (about 1.5k of stuff) to a random newbie. I won't be able to try this as I won't be able to play anymore. I just took up an out of the country medical assignment. Oh well. Years down the road this may still be going eh? I made him happy at least.

I would leave any guild I was in, in a heartbeat to take part in an all mage guild.

I tried to get one started up on Combine but the GMs fucked that up.

Seconded. That would be so awesome. The best group I have been in has been all mages. I think it was only 3 mages, but it was more efficient than any 6 person group I had been in at the time. Was in the mid 20s at Unrest I think.

At some point in content, basically everything important becomes immune to stun. (Some of Kunark is and most of Velious I think)

At that point, you could just add 2 tanks, a bard, enchanter, shaman, and 5-6 clerics to the guild and you'd be set. Monk for pulling. Necro for corpse summons. Maybe something else I'm not thinking of.
