Who remembers the short lived "be a monster" feature?

I remember coming home one day and logging on to EQ to find a patch message saying there was a new "monster" feature that would spawn you in one of several newbie zones as a random low level critter. I remember being a froglok tad, a black wolf but I can't remember any of the other ones. I only remember being in Lake of Ill Omen and Innothule. It was lots of fun, you were slain almost immediately by players though. It would be really fun to experience that again! Anyone happen to have any screen caps from that? I remember wanting to go back to try it again a short while later and the feature was removed, I think it was only around for a week or two.

That was a fun time.

I remember at one point a 59 druid in NK was oocing that he was buffing people playing NPCs. I ran by him a few minutes later and saw a ring of dead animals.

I'm not sure if I would classify it as a GM event, but they did make it available on live for a short time. You could log into Sullon Zek and have the option of being some random mob. I know the max level was a level 20 mob, but I can't remember if it was limited to certain zones or not. I remember logging in and being a spider in Oasis. I saw several other obvious players and we formed up and mobbed some unsuspecting players. I decided that i wanted to be an orc priest. After multiple logins i finally was one. I got all my spells in order and buffed up to wreck some shit when a high level came by and one-shotted me =(
