Hello all! I'm a new player to the Blue Server, I just started earlier today.
I grew up with the original EverQuest, then switched to EQ2 for a number of years before school/work became the priority. I'm not sure how frequently I'll be on, but reentering the original Norrath has been such a wave of nostalgia! | ||

Welcome! The blue server is older than the green server, there's a lot less xp groups going on and a lot less gear available in the tunnel. If you're mainly interested in soloing and don't want to buy stuff from other players Blue is the best choice, but if you're looking for groups or hope to buy some newbie gear from other players you might consider swapping to Green. Not a ton of xp groups on Green but way more than Blue.

Druid is a solid choice, versatile class for leveling, travel and easy way to make some coin porting people. And even if you decide not to main the druid it's very useful to have one in your roster. As others said, go Green and have fun.

Welcome to Norrath, tamatama! That nostalgia hit is real, and it never quite goes away. Wood Elf Druids are a fantastic choice for someone who likes to solo and roam, plus Ports and SoW make you popular fast. Running an alt on each server is a great way to see the differences for yourself. Have fun out there, and don't be shy about asking for help in-game. See you in the tunnel!

Welcome...I'd switch to green as it's newer but still getting old at this point 2018. They really need to release a new server because blue was 2011 I believe and green 2018 seems like it's time for the next version.
