Looking for players who are interested in starting a full loot death static group. It probably doesn’t matter what server. The rules are simple, it’s self-found and when your character dies, you effectively wipe your gear from that character. The gear can be destroyed, dropped, given to your mule, given to server noobs, or stored in your bank but it can’t be used in the static group and you can’t liquidate it for resources to be used in the static group.
It should make for some interesting play dynamics What is the best starting zone? What are the best classes? Are melee classes inherently at a disadvantage?

It’s not necessarily self-found but much of the gameplay will naturally play out as self found due to wipes
Is Monk the best melee class? Best way to replenish crucial gear for the group after a wipe? Best way to split loot? What is the best static group comp? Would love to discuss and get feedback from the community and maybe this thing will fire (even if it doesn’t work with my schedule. I just want to see it fire)

Personally, I think the best adventure is to start somehwere, where you can travel to qeynos around level 2 or 3, and to get a job working for the city cleaning the sewers.
And then go out and enlist in gnoll slaying, there's lots of contracts for those. When you get to the 12's bandits are fun to hunt for their sashes.

easier to just not die than you are making it out to be

How many times do you typically die on your way to 60 while untwinked? How about when nobody else in your group is twinked either?

Unless you're enforcing leveling in certain dungeons and, for some dungeons, further enforcing leveling in certain areas of said dungeons, I don't think it's hard to not die from 1-50. And by not hard I really mean very easy.
50 - 60 might be a bit tougher as the EXP options become more limited.

Its been done on green in a very similar iteration basically self found hardcore where you convert to non-hardcore if you die (as opposed to deleting the character). Didn't last long.

id rather play a group that wants to go HAM and do harder shit than pussyfoot around trying not to die in a fake ruleset

A more interesting hardcore group approach would probably be to purposely do the hardest dungeons at their intended level ranges, while also avoiding a few classes like Enchanter. Like a hardcore SSF group consisting of a Warrior, a Wizard, a Rogue, and a Bard. You have a lot of useful tools in this group, but you can't simply outheal all encounters with CH. You also don't have access to FD pulling.
