Tergon's Spellbook Quest - Retlon not responding to letter

For this quest, Retlon takes the Sealed Letter you get from Tergon Brenclog and responds with

[Fri Jun 06 13:19:54 2025] Retlon Brenclog says, 'No, no!! I do not need this!! Get me key number 15!!'

instead of

Retlon Brenclog says 'Ah! A letter from my brother! Mmm... no... no I don't have Tergon's spellbook. The orc's prophet took it and then they locked me in chains! Now why don't you go do something useful and get me key number 15!!'

Your faction standing with Eldritch Collective got better.
Your faction standing with Dark Reflection got worse.
Your faction standing with The Dead got worse.
Your faction standing with Gem Choppers got better.
Your faction standing with King AkAnon got better.
You gain experience!!

Also for the following chat:

Retlon Brenclog says 'Oh my word! A rescuer! Hurry! [Get me out] of these chains! Go find the [orc who has the keys]!'

Retlon actually doesn't have "Get me out" bracketed and does not respond to it.

He responds fine to the following, "What spellbook"

So, Retlon says that phrase about anything that isn't the key he is looking for. The trick for the slaves back in the day was to hand a copper piece to each of them to determine which key they wanted.

In this case, the Sealed Letter that is provided by Tergon wasn't the correct letter, Retlon didn't have a quest to receive it, ate it anyways, and complained that it wasn't the key.
