Default Duo xp spot suggestions

Heya pals, I've been duoing with my brother with some new characters recently. He's playing a twinked fungi tunic rogue and I've been leveling a wizard to use as a port bot, so he's been rogue tanking while we just delete mobs. It's been hilariously effective so far, but now we've reached 40 and mobs are starting to do enough damage to slow things down, as expected.

So, I'll be switching to a 51 pally alt and he'll remain playing the rogue. We plan to just ping pong aggro to spread damage and between deepwater helm and fungi tunic, keep things moving that way. Are there any out of the way spots that would be good for a pally rogue duo? I was leaning toward maybe CoM moat, but sometimes the zone gets busy, so ideally somewhere off the beaten path would be better.

Efreeti in Sol B would also be good for a paladin to spread virtue with his squire. LDCs too are probably ok for 50 but getting weak. But good for you two I bet.

The rogue is still 40 or 41, so efreeti is probably a bit much for us, but LDCs or bats n lava beetles isn't a bad idea. We can both probably use a guano bag, too.

Yeah LDCs, bats, and the Stone Spider will drop to you two because you're all combat DPS.

Gnomes might be ok but probably too low idk I never did gnomes ever for exp.

Lower Guk might be fun for you two, magus/lord.. or the king.

The Hole might be fun for you two to crawl around in.

FWIW as long as you can tank it, the rogue can stab it!

Personally I'd say something outdoors, like maybe Drolvargs in FV? Dungeons have an inherent problem when you're in a duo/trio that kills quickly, and its that mobs have insanely long spawn timers in dungeons.

Outdoor zones with 6m 40s spawn times let you grind endlessly without waiting for respawns, its usually less contested, and its usually safer to bail if you need to compared to being deep in a dungeon where things can go wrong.

Seafuries would be decent for you two outdoors, idk if those are camped a lot.

Off the beaten path might be Traks Teeth for you two, lots of undead for the paly to take advantage of. The area in front of the Tooth turn in, has lots of mobs. Just exp tho no loot really.

How fast are you expecting to burn down the mobs? depending on how many mobs you think you'll need before respawns start, that sort of changes the calculus.

Also, between the two of you are you able to handle higher HP mobs?

I would stick with undead camps to maximize the pally effectiveness, could do spectres (feerrott/OOT), you're starting to level out at 51 but would help the rogue catch up some. Lower guk always a good spot. Tons of undead mobs near the sebilis zone in trakanon's teeth and other than pained soul nobody really kills them, could farm there easy and even get in on pained soul camp for VP key piece (can sell for prolly $10-15k for just that piece)
