Default Crash when changing characters.

Has anyone else experienced this? My understanding is its common enough that most people exit the client completely when camping out one character / account and logging onto their other character / account.

From what I have gathered. This happens when you have a modified UI. I havent noticed this when logging into a character that has the baseUI. You can log out of those characters and immediately into another character without issue.

However, if your UI changes (probably not all UIs which is why im making this post) and you try to login to another character you will crash.

If anyone knows more about this or has a UI that minimizes this or has figured out what element is causing this... you would be forever remembered in the annals of Project 1999 History.

Have you set the eqgame.exe compatibility mode to WinXP SP2/SP3 ?

This happens to me occasionally and makes me sweat every time I ground transfer my Fungi Tunic.

It's seems to depend on the whether or not the character pane was moved. You'll notice your mouse cursor changing color sometimes at the character select screen.

Sometimes it feels like it crashes if I try to change characters too quickly too.

It's very finicky.
