I remember seeing this picture of an accident in the Long Island Newsday, of some luckless fuck from Hauppauge, or some other wretched township, who was driving his convertible during a strong windstorm and a big branch fell and crushed his head so perfectly the top of his head was level with his collarbone.


And I remember thinking -- and still thinking -- how the fuck did that actually happen?


That is where I am at. I'm the guy who rushed out and saw the luckless fuck first. So, imagining that level of soul rending perplexity, explain to me as well.
