![]() I started up on the Green server last night and everything is great except for two things:
1) I cannot play in full screen mode - it goes full screen and then reverts back to windowed.
2) Anytime I zone, any macros or skill hotkeys made disappear. Any insight or information on how to address this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

![]() the hot keys/macros disappearing is a known issue atm
it will likely be fixed next patch for the full screen part, I'm not too sure on that but could try to run on compatibility mode

![]() Maybe you can try this:
Check that the EQ folder is not in the Program files folder and that it has: "read only" UNCHECKED, also try to set for permissions and security enabled for all set to everyone.

![]() Try copying everything in the EverQuest folder to a new folder created under C:\ , like C:\EQP99
Then apply these permissions to that folder. 1. "read only" UNCHECKED and apply 2. set security permissions for "everyone" to full control, and apply

![]() Ok. Will try that and post results.
I assume just moving the EverQuest folder to a new folder will not break the game?

![]() I moved the EverQuest folder to C:\ then renamed it to EQP99
Set the permissions as you suggested. Still same results. When I change to full screen mode and try something it switched back to window mode. And I lost all my in game chat windows and key bindings. uggg

![]() Honestly, in 2021 there's no reason to play in full-screen mode, given all the drama it creates.
Instead, I recommend "full screen windowed mode": make your EQ client fill the screen, but still be in a window so you can switch to other applications. You get the best of both worlds that way. See: https://wiki.project1999.com/User_In...ndowed.22_Mode

This is why Blizzard literally just removed full-screen support recently from WoW.. because everyone working over at Blizzard or playing WoW is a brain dead idiot who is basically tech def, like tone def, but for tech.. they know nothing. Try Alt+Enter to go into full screen, It is just a shortcut but it works 100% for me, but it didn't always, I think the main issue was in eqclient.ini : [VideoMode] WindowedWidth=1920 WindowedHeight=1080 Width=1920 Height=1080 FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32 FullscreenRefreshRate=0 WidthWindowed=1920 HeightWindowed=1080 Make sure these are all the same, depending on your resolution.. This was causing me to get forced back into windowed mode if I went off the specified resolution, it would flash the screen and go back to windowed, it is because your WidthWindowed etc is different from your Width etc.. These need to be the same.
