![]() Hi guys,
one of my passion projects over the last few months has been figuring out how combat stats work on P99. Here is the link to my findings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RnF...GyoVWvZTZ/view I am asking the community to help me add to it. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. Cheers!

![]() This is good and well thought out. Just for understanding that data better, can you please write down what your X and Y axis is on the graph? Like directly below the x and y axis. I know that you describe what the x and y axis is, would just be easier to see it on the graph to get a better understanding of the data.
Also, how many replicates did you have? Im assuming you didnt use the data from just 3 different cliff golems at different STR levels right? If so, can you increase replicates? Might be interesting to see if the data holds up over multiple cliff golems. Overall well done, thanks for the primer.

I will add the labels. Thank you. Regarding the number of golems... I wouldn't look at it as how many golems I tested it on, rather the number of hits (in the case of STR) that registered. If you kill 100 bats in FP it doesn't really matter cause the number of hits on those is so low to not have an adequate sample. I basically parsed enough of the variable I was interested in to feel confident sampling error is minimized. I didn't put it in the primer, but for STR I also parsed against another monk, and that parse went for about 15 minutes using 9/16 weapons with near max haste. The number of hits was large enough to give me confidence. The results also matched my Cliff Golem results.

![]() Sweet! Thank you for the data analysis - and looking forward to the AoW parse results :-)

![]() This is going to be an interesting read through, thanks for the link and the work you put into it.
As an example, I was wondering recently how useful this would be for actual tanking. Does the AC overwrite the massive agility loss? Have had plenty of questions like that in the past.

![]() I wish someone would write a detailed math breakdown how
ATK = Math foruma Def = Math Foruma I still am in belief that the number shown on p99 is not accurate due to titanium client. (yeah I know eqemu github code has this math but that's not specifically geared to p99 code) Edit: PDF takes info directly from the wiki,. which appreciates the info i've continued to pras,.. P99 wiki is the #1 source of classic ERA ACCURATE information on the internet. I take pride in this.

![]() So does that mean that this item is not as trash as it looks does on the surface, assuming you have "Ok" AGI/DEX in general and are not into PVP and heavily reliant on Procs for agro/utility?
https://wiki.project1999.com/Stonemelder%27s_Band Always wondered if it was worth giving up that much AGI/DEX for AC.

Based on my parses, the 18 AC will probably be material for tanking, especially since its an ear item. The AGI loss probably wont be noticeable if you have enough (I would say mid 100s), and the DEX loss won't really matter if you aren't interested in proc rate, or PvP.
