Erudites Matter

Iksars having regen and Erudites not is clearly racist. Is it because we're black or something?

Please insert questable item (solo friendly lowish level quest) for all Necromancers except Iksar which gives same regen as Iksar and looks cool as f*ck.

It's also in the interests of the ladies.

Will my request fall on deaf ears?

Before I forget, the same goes for the non-iksar monks and non-ogre sk's.

Eliminate min-maxx by making all races equal by adding questable items for non-iksar and non-ogre.

You shouldn't be penalised for wanting to be beautiful instead of ugly or unique instead of a clone.

Erudite are an INT based race with a neutral alignment in the world of norrath. This offers them MANY opportunities that other races miss out of.

There's nothing unique about a game full of Iksar because of they're OP regen instead of a healthy mix of all races and classes.

All Necromancers should be fundamentally equal regardless of race even if the seperate races have unique perks.

But Verant has Dark Elf clerics healing and resurrecting even though Dark Elves are evil so badly thought through OP Iksar regen is understandable with that mentally.

Even an evil society needs its healers, otherwise they'd die out.

I do agree with you to an extent though. Dark elf necromancers have such cool flavor going for them, but whenever I try to play one it's honestly hard to ignore how much straight up better iksar are at being necromancers. It kind of ruins the whole class for me.

Res spells aren't really cannon in MMOs and are mainly just for player convenience. I can't think of a single instance in EQ where someone was brought back from the dead outside of possibly some extreme magical ritual. IIRC, WoW was the first time something like that was encountered with Whitemane and Mograine in Scarlet Monastery. However, even in WoW there were plenty of times a friendly NPC gets killed and it results in perma death despite there being a healer standing next to them.

Trying to rationalize Res spells in this game and who gets to use them is about as folly as trying to rationalize the in game lore behind corpse runs.

Spirok in Plane of Sky have a couple of mobs that will rez the others.

On topic: low iksar int and mr has got them mindcontrolled into believing they are superior to Erudites.

Verant logic: A Erudite is vastly more intelligent than a Lizard yet at the same fundamentally inferior when it comes to Necromancy. What's the point of being intelligent if you can win by being stupid instead?

If you were going to pick another race for Necromancer it would be Erudite for the special items (Noclin's Femur is cool if you like to collect things) and the high INT but they're saying INT is unimportant to the Necro and what really matters is having a lesser parasitic draw so you need to recharge yourself less often and the less parasitic draw you have the greater the Necromancer you are so in the mix-max mind Iksar Necro > Erudite Necro which makes no sense from a Lore aspect.

Erudites are intelligent and Lizards are dumb and bcause intelligent people SHARE knowledge and stupid people want to keep it to themselvs to gain an unfair advantage like the Iksar do it means the Erudites taught the Iksar Necromancy so Erudites should be just as good as Iksar...at 60 all Necro should be equal.
