The best way to get server first 50 on Thornblade and Mischief.

Roll 3 or 6 wizards with your budies (whatever u can get, a full grp is best if u have friends)

Do mail quest Felwithe>Kelethin till 10

go into steamfont and kill till 16 with ur wizards u will outdps everyone so it doesnt matter what they do, then do chessboard or CB till 20, then MM with ur 6 wizards progressing thru content cuz no one can outdps a grp of 6 wizards, gg, u will hit 50 before anyone can even stop u and u will just have to buy ike 8 spells u wont even need to stop to loot much

plus ports, so u can port to were u can kill lotsa mobs, if u had a crew, that's how i would do it

u could probably hit 50 in about 6 days if u ran shifts (or less) and duo'd quad kites (one wiz kites till oom, the other till oom, both sit and med)

any over/under on how long the servers will take to be playable?

thinkin 9 hrs after launch or thereabouts

i'm itching to be first on server but i dont want to have to transfer if i pick the wrong one and queues are like 8hrs

24 hrs at least, it was 20 hrs on live last time i did this like 11 years ago or whenever

aradune launched 3 pm and cleared up around 12 am EST

rizlona was playable earlier than that, but it was less popular due to the different ruleset. maybe this will be a little better now with 2 servers that have equal rules

Can newbs play there as well?
My experience with EQ ends with velious and I am still a newb in those eras.
I feel like people who know the game will camp shit 1 expack in advance and I will never be able to catch up.

Also, wouldn't a pack of druids be a better option because it's basically same as wizard but you can then have a powerlevel crew?

I would say that TLP is much more "noob" friendly... there are certain classes I would steer away from in classic.. I wouldn't recommend playing a Rogue for instance.

Look, I have only weak classes like ranger, warrior and rogue here.

I'd like to try some power tho i wouldn't know what to do with it.

What class should I aim for then?
