wiki issue?

Wiki seems to be having some issues at present. I get the following on two different systems and my cell (not on WiFi so different IP and DNS).

On trying to load again I did get a single instance of the below message, then back to the above error:

A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? See: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Upgrading#Run_the_update_script
Query: DELETE FROM `wikia_l10n_cache` WHERE lc_lang = 'en'
Function: LCStore_DB::startWrite
Error: 1213 Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction (localhost)
