 | Update (or remove and reinstall) your graphics drivers. Maybe DirectX too (is that still a thing?)

 | Hi, a friend just installed the game (ip exemption request inc.) and has the same problem here. No character created yet, the problem is already at the character selection. direct X is correct and graphic card has actual drivers. (acc. to the software no update needed) Thank you for help

 | Unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions, but you could try some of the options on: https://wiki.project1999.com/Tech_Su...phics_Problems (And if that doesn't help, but you later find the solution, please consider adding it to that page.)

 | Was a thread on this last year -- https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...d.php?t=338661 Seems to be hardware related and started after one of the patches. At the end of that thread someone posted a possible solution. Fresh install and when you patch, do not include the RenderEffects folder

 | I will try that out at the weekend: fresh install and not copying the render folder from the patch. Result will be posted here. Thank you for the help in advance.

 | Solved: The issue is coming from the RenderEffects folder Just override the RenderEffects folder with the original installation files and you good to go. No need for me to reinstall everything. | ||
