Chat Channel Creation Question

I know that being able to create a chat channel (for example /join cleric1) is not Classic but could it ever be possibly considered for being put in use on this server?

It was definitely before the raid window was put in, which was in Velious. I distinctly remember having to go back to chat channels on a Velious raid when the raid window was all fucked up.

So, when Velious dropped or sometime there after sounds right.

By Velious, you mean Planes of Power... then yes.

I used to single group in velious. with raid channels or the custom chat channels - but it was more like 2 single groups....fighting dragons taking turns getting xps in WW.

the raid window wasn't until much later.

I would also love this.. it would allow auctions and prices to be much more consisent overall as well as having the benefit of being able to have an in-game place to talk amongst other members of your class.

would be cool to have the "umad" channel instead of global ooc on red99
