if one person gets a guise every 4-12 hours how many people will get guises total before they are patched out? i have thought about this for more than 20 seconds but if someone wants to nerd out you get the concept.

its a fairly common drop and the mob pops like 50% with the ph in my experience. you're gonna see more like 1 every 2-3 hrs

Guises are on average 12 per day on permacamp. Its not so bad. Honestly, if you want a guise on one character for sure, wait 3 months, take off on a tuesday or wednesday, get a full nights sleep as much as possible and wake up at 3:45AM EST. Then get to the camp, and join or prepare for a ride along for the whole day in that cozy sexy room. You'll get your mask.

List camps dont work this way.

Go to camp, /list and wait for someone to kill it and loot. Once its your turn, the corpse will lock until you loot it. So pretty much, make it to 35 and recieve your guise.

How long does the corpse lock for? Do you lose your spot in the list if you can't loot it?

normal amount of time, 8 min or so on a normal corpse i believe

if you don't loot it, it rots and you get locked out for the next 7 days in the current system

you also can't walk too far away from the camp without getting delisted, and you're hitting afk checks every 5 min. it's p much designed so you stand in the mob room waiting for your turn

Nothing he said conflicts that. He was saying, Joining the list in the early AM on a weekday is probably when you will find it to be the shortest.

Guise was open on red 99 when it had 600 pop 3 months in. Play day 1 you can get a guise if ya want it.

RoZ guise was contested 24/7 till removal, but also much of that time was spent recovering from trains / pvp deaths rather than killing the mobs right as they spawn.
