Magician questions

Hey guys, started here last week, tried enchanter, decided to go mage til I can afford some gear [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] My question is this--my mage just hit 20 and can now specialize. I know most mages spec conjuration/evocation, but since I will be doing almost exclusively pet cleric/burn for exp until at least 39, do yall think it could be worth it to spec alt until then, then switch to conj? Also, are there any magician researchers out there? I am in need of my fire pets [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Thanks in advance for the help guys!
