Where are friend's list saved in EQ Directory?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but In order to play EQ more portable (provided I have access to wired or wireless internet) so I just copied my desktop's eq to my laptop (so I wouldn't have to download the whole eq again) and I noticed that when I copied it my friends list didn't copy with it - or well it was fully up to date?

I am wonder how you can do this, so in the future when I am on my laptop I don't have to worry about my friends list being gone or missing and it can be hard to remember who my friends were?

Friends are kept in the <charactername>_project1999.ini file in your EQ directory.

So all I have to do then in order to keep my friends list between the different computers is to transfer that file over, also that will not mess with my eq settings will it? Like the resolution or the ui layout?
