P99 Plz Give Code So Someone Can Make a New Server

Pretty hopeless, but so money people want to play on a brand new server and feel that REAL grind and new competition.

Would be pretty cool if someone with a software background was able to make a re99/Green server because things seem to be going really slow paced on p99. Not complaining its just a reality(staff works really hard and for free).

I think he was suggesting they SHOULD make P99 code open source. Honestly that would be awesome but would never happen. Someone would make a server with a raid scene that isn't dogshit and P99 would die.

It wont die. Too many people are emotionally dependent on it. Even people who dont play cant leave. People would literally play on the other server and then post on these boards about it to make sure all their elf friends knew what they were doing.

I get the joke you were trying to make but not only was it not really funny it also made no sense. 3/10 for effort? Me shitposting on the forums is doing absolutely nothing to keep P99 (the server) alive. If a rival server appeared with identical code but fixed raiding I think its safe to say EASILY 1/2 to 3/4 of P99's playerbase would switch within a couple of months. The P99 forums can be as busy as ever but that makes 0 difference if there's 50 people logging on blue.
