Forgot my login credentials

Hi folks,

I realize this may not be the right forum, but I'm experiencing some confusion between the p99 site, eqemu, etc. Please feel free to answer me like you're talking to a five-year-old.

I have an account I created when I came back to p99 because I forgot my original login information. After getting the original login information back, I forgot about the "return account" login details.

If I know the email address I used to sign up for it, could someone please give me instructions about reclaiming the user name / resetting the password?

I have reset the password to those forums. Is my forum username the same as my server login username?

Also, the password for the forums and the password for the server are not the same if I'm remembering correctly?

Dunno where you're getting "account sold" from. It's got like a 31 Wizard on it or something like that. I just wanna get back on so I can delete a guy I made so I can use his name.

No it'll be different there. You need to remember the EQ emu username... within that is your login server account. Password is probably different too.

Again, sorry for my density... is the EQ emu username not the same as my forum login name? Is there a way to retrieve that?

Nah, the username that you login to the server with is called a Loginserver Account, and can be created using your EQEmulator account. Sign into eqemulator.org, click Loginserver Accounts in the Navigation section:

Out of all emulated games I think EQemu has to be the trickiest setup and has that extra stumbling block if people forget some details they never use.
