Patching Everquest

I am having some problems trying to get the game to run.

I have following on the shortcut.

D:\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe patchme

But when it does the patch i get the following patch message.
Connection Failure
Could not establish a connection.
Please check your network connection
or contact eqtech@soe.sony.com

I checked the EQhost file to see the login server it looks to be correct.

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998


I dont know what to do next. Please help.

The shortcut needs to be pointing to eqgame.exe, not EverQuest.exe:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
